This painting evolved from an interview with a partially sighted person living with Glaucoma and night vision loss.

Glaucoma and night vision loss:
Glaucoma is a condition that affects the optic nerve causing loss of peripheral vision and is usually associated with high eye pressure. People with a family history of glaucoma are more at risk of the condition. As Glaucoma advances it affects an individual’s colour vision, usually blue-yellow colours. Glaucoma usually starts in one eye and can affect the other eye too.
